Campaigns
Referral campaigns form the heart of your referral program. They are where you define the logic of the campaign including any user facing messaging, the links the referral URL should redirect to and the referral reactors that should be triggered when the referred user records a relevant event.
Campaign details
When building your campaign you will first configure its basic details. These include;
Internal campaign name
Whether you want the campaign to be active immediately
Public campaign name
Public campaign description
Public campaign image
Apple App Store URL
Google Play URL
Desktop URL

Reward Sequence
After entering the details of your campaign and clicking save you will then be able to configure the logic of your referral program. Sequence steps are configured in the same way that a reactor would be, with a few key differences.
Reward referrer as well? - With this toggle enabled you will be able to define separate 'Referrer Reaction' logic. This allows you to give different rewards to the referrer and referee.
Payload constraints - You can define simple payload constrains to the sequence step. These will then be merged into the more complex logic which is created when you save the referral step.
Activation limit - An activation limit must be defined for a referral sequence step. Typically this would be one per subject, however higher limits can also be set. The activation limit options are in the 'Effectivity' tab.
Consider your points liability when creating referral campaigns. If you make the reward for making a referral too easy to achieve then you may leave yourself open to abuse.
For example, a campaign which rewards the referrer when the referee signs up could lead to people making multiple fake accounts in order to collect the referrer bonus on their main account. A better approach would be to reward just the referee when they sign up, and then the referrer when the referee makes a purchase.

Referrers
The referrers tab allows you to view details of the end-users who have made referrals, including their unique link and how many people have signed up to your program via the link.
You can filter the list by a user's name, email address, account number or their referral link.
Clicking Edit in the top right allows you to select a user from the list and delete their referral link. This is useful if you identify any cases of misuse.
