1.c Standalone website or PWA

Deploy the Loyalty Microsite as a standalone website, offering flexible authentication options, PWA features, and a fully responsive design for optimal accessibility across devices.

Deploy the microsite as a standalone website

Deploying the Loyalty Microsite in standalone mode allows you to offer the full loyalty experience as an independent website accessible via a custom URL, such as rewards.yourdomain.com.

This approach is ideal for clients who want their loyalty program accessible across different devices without embedding the microsite within an app or existing website.

User authentication options

Standalone mode offers flexible authentication options to best suit your user base:

  • WLL-Provided Authentication: Users can log in and create accounts directly on the microsite.

  • Single Sign-On (SSO): Configure SSO with SAML or OIDC to integrate with your existing identity provider, enabling seamless access to the microsite.

  • Proxying Pre-existing Account Systems: In some cases, it may be possible to directly link the microsite to an existing user account system for authentication.

Progressive web app (PWA) features

To enhance the standalone experience, the microsite includes support for Progressive Web App (PWA) features. By configuring a web app manifest filearrow-up-right, you enable users to:

  • Add to Home Screen: Users on mobile devices can add the microsite directly to their home screen, allowing it to function much like a native app with full-screen viewing.

  • Offline Support: PWA caching capabilities mean certain elements of the microsite remain accessible even with limited connectivity.

Adaptive interface

The microsite’s interface automatically adjusts to the user’s screen size, ensuring an optimal experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. No additional configuration is needed for responsive design, making this an efficient option for a variety of user preferences.
